I love to eat out :) - but also like it when you can take your time over a great dinner - where is the best place to spend an entire evening, eating and then relaxing with a drink afterwards?

Have you tried the fine dining evenings at the Garden Kitchen at Stamford Garden Centre?
James Lamb is opening the restaurant on selected Friday evenings.
The menu changes each week and although you do need to book, there is only one sitting.
The last event was on Friday 2 October and the menu featured starters such as:
rabbit lasagna
crab bruschetta
pumpkin & sage risotto
and mains:
Cornish brill on a bed of creamed potatoes with wilted spinach and wild mushrooms
Roast pheasant with figs
Roast hoggett with vegetables

The food is all prepared to order and is fantastic.
The restaurant is fully licenced and James is continually expanding his wine list.
